Watching and enjoying nature
This day was classic. The gulls and I were enjoying some great weather and playing in nature along a coastal headland. They were also thankful for how much the environment was feeding them. Cameras that accompany you on these days get used a lot.
I was catching the action as a large group of birds swooped and dove into a shoal of fish. Obviously, ample food was on the menu.
There's nature, then there's the goofball gull in the second image. It sat right close to me with two jokes, so I liked it very much.
Joke 1. The takeaway menu offered by nearby picnicers, ready for the opportunist.
Joke 2. A bird (gull) is eating fried nuggets of another bird (chicken).
No wonder photography is so popular.
